This Purple Power Smoothie is one of my absolute favorites. I use it pretty much every time I’m getting sick of my standard Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie (That recipe is delivered in my email newsletter on the second email. Sign up here to get it!) so I can get a change of flavors.

It’s a powerhouse of nutrients, fantastic for boosting your immune system and supporting your health.

This is a recipe that I’ve been making for a couple years now and I am always pleasantly surprised with the subtle flavor you get from the cucumber. It’s a very unusual taste in a smoothie, but I think that’s what makes it so great.

The Flavor of the Purple Power Smoothie Recipe

I am the type of person who often gets stuck in flavor ruts (peanut butter + chocolate, anyone?) and I SOOOO love this for giving me a break and making me appreciate my favorite flavors that much more.

This recipe comes from Dr. Joel Fuhrman‘s book Super Immunity, and I have been making it ever since I first read the book a couple years back.

You should really try it; it’s definitely a go-to for me!
