Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a Lux Magazine event in Tampa and I love these get-togethers because I always meet some really awesome local people. This last time I was fortunate enough to meet a lovely lady named Annthea Waugh who just happens to have her own product line of barbecue sauces, balsamic glazes and drink mixers. So duh. Food blogger + food creator = she was happy to fork over a little product so I could dip my greedy little tastebuds in and give them a whirl.
I’ve only had the pleasure of tasting her Pear Martini Mixer as of yet, but patience, my Dear Reader, patience… If everything is anywhere near as good as the Pear Martini Mixer, we’re in for some good eats…
So I made a little video for this drink recipe I’m sharing with you today for our much anticipated Friday 5 O’Cocktail!!

The great thing to me about this line of drink mixers, which all go under the brand name called Forbidden Synn’s, is that they are all natural. There are only 7 ingredients in this one that I tried and in my book, that’s a great thing: filtered water, pears, cane sugar, honey, vanilla, cinnamon and citric acid. So I threw together this super simple drink and had a great time shooting the video for it. Ha! I hope you like it like I did – sooo yummilicious (serious culinary term). Also, to buy the martini mixer, visit the Forbidden Synn’s website.
