I mean, Sunday is National Iced Tea Day so it’s only appropriate that the Friday 5 O’Cocktail should be a LON-GISLAND Iced Tea to get ready, right?! It’s funny though, I always thought this drink was just a hard iced tea — but actually the name of the drink comes from the fact that it just looks like iced tea!
You can order this drink “extra long” for even more alcohol!
Also, you can substitute the sweet and sour mix for a citrus juice such as orange or even lemon or lime. This is how the drink is often prepared outside of the US. So invite some friends over and have a fun afternoon!

Up here in dirty Jerz people love their L-I-T’s. I was really never into them except for one wild night when I was 21. NEVER AGAIN haha!! Don’t get me wrong–they are very tasty but my tolerance just doesn’t cut it.
DIRTY JERZZZZ!!! Love that. Haha. And I haven’t had any wild nights with LIT’s, but maybe I should…..
