YEAAAAHHH Base Salad for the WIN!! This si one of my favorite base salads out there. The Napa Cabbage Salad with Sesame Peanut Dressing, found in Dr. Fuhrman’s book The End of Heart Disease. The freshness and crunch of this super mild-tasting salad is amazing in itself, but pair it with a super smooth, tasty dressing like this, and I could eat the whole salad myself and not share. And I have before :P ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
Then, you pile 5-6 cups of salad in a huge bowl, and add a bunch of cooked or raw veggies on top (see some photos from earlier when I did this) and you’ve got a super huge filling meal…that also happens to be low in calories. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
The salad has Napa cabbage, red peppers, snow peas and green onions. The dressing is made from natural peanut butter, sesame seeds, almond milk, water, rice vinegar, dates, garlic, ginger and a little Bragg’s. Experiment yourself with the proportions or get the awesome book for the exact recipe (and lots of others!)
