Matcha Cinnamon Bun Smoothie Recipe
If you don't have a high-speed blender yet, chop your bananas into small pieces before freezing so your blender will have an easier time....and then I highly recommend you get a Vitamix when you can swing it! :)
Recipe type: smoothie
Serves: 1-2 servings
  • 1½ cups almond milk
  • 4 medjool dates, pitted
  • 2 cups spinach, romaine or baby kale greens
  • ¼ cup rolled oats (raw)
  • 2 bananas, frozen
  • 1 teaspoon organic matcha green tea powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon maple extract (or 1 teaspoon maple syrup)
  1. Add the first four ingredients to your blender and blend on high to combine, in order to break down the greens enough first. They should be as smooth as possible to extract as many nutrients as possible.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend on high until fully combined and smooth. Enjoy!
