It’s not what you think, folks.
Okay, maybe it is! It’s the Friday 5 O’Cocktail! This week I want to commemorate the solemn and depressing end of Girl Scout Cookie season with a tribute cocktail: the Dirty Girl Scout! I have never tried one of these myself, but checking out all the comments on the recipe at DrinksMixer.com, I can see this is a drink I am going to have to attempt at home VERRRY soon. A couple of my favorites:
- “They go down fast and tastes great for people who don’t like the taste of alcohol.” Excellent drinking criteria.
- And Abe, a real winner says: “Chicks dig it! In college I bought this shot for girls all the time.” Thanks, Creep-o.
And actually, now that I think about it, we’re actually having company in tonight from Michigan…*mental party scheming begins*
So anyhow, there are two recipes that I want to give for this drink. One includes Kahlua and one is without. I give the one without, because some people don’t like coffee-flavored things, so this is for you. And for those of you who don’t like mint-flavored things, well, go drink something else!

Hi Cheri,
I’m a bartender in beautiful SoCal OC, I’ve been serving this drink for years with mixed results so I decided to play with the formula. I’ve been making them my way for almost a year now with rave reviews. First off I don’t use Baileys or Kahlua since you basically don’t get either of those flavor profiles in an actual thin mint cookie. Here’s my recipe. Enjoy ????
1oz vanilla vodka
1/2 oz green creme de menthe
1/2 oz white Creme de cocoa
Splash of cream, can use whipped if wanted thicker like a Scooby snack.
Mix in shaker with ice.
Can be served as a drink or shooter.
Happy Cocktailing ????
