Triple Berry Smoothie

I’ve combined some of my favorite fruits for this light and hydrating Triple Berry Smoothie Recipe—loaded with berry goodness and antioxidants that will provide your body with nutrients, energy, and cleansing benefits.

Why Berries?

Berries digest cleanly and quickly and have no toxic residue when we eat them on their own. We immediately fuel our energy and absorb the countless vitamins and other micronutrients— giving us great hair and amazingly soft skin, but most importantly, overall health.

Try to eat fruit on an empty stomach. If you top other foods with fruit, you will make digestive trouble for yourself. Fruits break down the quickest of all foods, so we don’t really want them sitting on top of slower digesting foods (this will only lead to backing up your system – YUCK!).

Berries can also protect your brain from memory loss and contribute to enhanced memories. In fact, blueberries will actually improve learning capacity and are among the best source of antioxidants that you can easily purchase and incorporate into your diet.

Prepare ingredients.

Add all ingredients to the blender and blend until fully combined.

Triple Berry Smoothie Recipe

Serves: 14 ounces
Ingredients
  • 8 ounces Coconut water
  • ½ cup Blueberries
  • ½ cup Raspberries
  • ¾ cup Strawberries
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 10 leaves fresh mint
Instructions
  1. Add the coconut water, berries, vanilla extract and mint leaves to the blender.
  2. Start the blender on a low speed, blend until smooth. If needed gradually increase to higher speeds and blend until smooth.
  3. Enjoy!
