Yesterday was National Rum Day, so we’d better celebrate it today! So as soon as work gets out, get ON IT, dude. This is an easy-as-pie drink and it seems really refreshing too, ’cause it’s a blended ice one! And I love these kinds of tropical type drinks! Will keep you cool inside when it’s still sweltering outside (at least it still is here down in Florida – is it hot where you are now??) It’s the Captain’s Colada and it features Captain Morgan rum!
Captain’s Colada
INGREDIENTS
1 1/4 oz Captain Morgan Spiced Rum
1 oz Cream of Coconut
3 oz Pineapple Juice
1/2 cup Crushed Ice
DIRECTIONS
Throw all ingredients in a blender together and blend until smooth. Garnish with a Pineapple Spear, if you’re feeling saucy!
