Love apples- when my kids were little I wanted to take them to an apple orchard, a farm on Gravenstein Highway in Sebastopol Californis to pick Gravenstein Apples to make our annual home made apple pie. I explained to my kids that we were going to the farm to pick apples.
My daughter Kalian who was probably 4 or 5 at the time said, “That is silly. Apples don’t come from farms they come from Safeway.” Today she owns a farm.
